Job summary

RK&K in Baltimore, MD is seeking an entry-level CADD Operator to support utility design, relocation, and coordination using AutoCAD and MicroStation. You will help develop accurate 2D/3D drawings and learn industry CADD standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma (CADD coursework preferred) and 0–2 years of AutoCAD or MicroStation experience. Hybrid work is offered with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; CADD/Drafting coursework preferred.
• 0–2 years of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience (academic or internship accepted).
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and apply drafting/CADD techniques.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to visit project sites and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate, deliverable drawings per direction and sketches; prepare contract drawings and renderings.
• Support project research, easement validation, permit package development, and file organization.
• Use CAD software to develop layouts meeting engineering specs.
• Assist engineers and designers with drawings, redlines, and sketches.
• Review drawings and update as designs progress.
• Read construction drawings and apply dimensions and scales.
• Learn and adhere to CADD standards and procedures.
• Support surveying data processing and plats development.
