Job summary

EDI Staffing, an EDI Specialists Company, is seeking an Applications Programmer – EDI/Oracle in California. The role focuses on developing, deploying, maintaining, and customizing Oracle EBS and EDI integrations across GL, AP, AR, OM, WIP, INV, PO, and FA. You will collaborate with Business Analysts to translate requirements and deliver technical solutions.

You will test, deploy, and support reports and forms, and participate in 24/7 on-call support, ensuring system processing and availability.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related IT field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Reports, Forms, Workflow Builder, Discoverer, PL/SQL, Shell Scripts and XML Publisher (GL/AP/AR/OM/INV/PO).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator development and administration.
• 2+ years of experience with E-Commerce gateway/Oracle E-Business Suite (ERP).
• Hands-on experience with ANSI X12, CSV, XML, and EDIFACT standards related to 850/855/810/856.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, maintain, and customize Oracle Applications and EDI integrations.
• Interface with Business Analysts to translate requirements and develop solutions.
• Test, deploy, and support reporting and forms from business requirements.
• Support Oracle Applications Production environment (12i) and integration touchpoints.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call department program.
• Create process flows and high-level functional and detailed technical design specifications.
