Alta Resource Technologies, Inc. in Boulder, CO is seeking a Business Development & Special Projects Manager to bridge commercial strategy and early-stage initiatives.

The role splits roughly 50/50 between business development activities and cross-functional special projects, with ownership of scope, timelines, and KPI reporting to leadership. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, or business.
• 5+ years of analytically intensive experience with independent project leadership.
• Proficiency in financial modeling (DCF, scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis).
• Ability to read and interpret process flow diagrams, mass balance tables, and engineering cost estimates.
• Experience with development or due diligence of project finance structures and execution plans.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical-financial audiences.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial, cash flow, and sensitivity analyses for techno-economic modeling and investment decisions.
• Develop analyses for pilot and commercial-scale deployments with capex, opex, and timelines.
• Model economic outcomes for new feedstocks and partnerships under varying assumptions.
• Conduct market analysis for rare earth separation, recycling, and related technologies.
• Prepare investor materials, white papers, and government proposals with quantitative insights.
• Support go-to-market strategies including licensing and joint ventures.
• Analyze market segments, pricing, and partner ecosystems.
