WFOX TV Jacksonville, part of Cox Media Group, seeks a Traffic Assistant to enter precise traffic instructions, maintain daily logs, and optimize inventory in the WideOrbit system. The role requires strong organization, detail, and the ability to multitask under deadline pressure.

Responsibilities include generating missing material reports, following up with agencies and sales reps, and collaborating across departments. A hybrid work model and independent work style are supported.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• WideOrbit experience (at least 1 year).
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and MS Teams.
• Ability to transcribe, format, input, edit, retrieve, copy and transmit data.
• Resourceful self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Creative problem-solver.

Responsabilités

• Generate daily “missing material instruction” report for multiple days.
• Follow up on missing materials and instructions with agencies, clients, and/or sales reps.
• Implement accurate traffic instructions and spots.
• Maximize inventory and revenue by maintaining daily logs and frontloading.
• Adapt and adopt standardization procedures and initiatives.
• Collaborate with sales, creative, client contacts, and agencies.
• Perform other traffic/continuity duties as assigned; back-up other traffic personnel as needed.
• Maintain responsiveness, organization, and independent judgment in a fast-paced environment.
