Job summary

Elite DNA Behavioral Health is actively seeking a Board Certified Psychiatrist to join our physician‑run telepsychiatry and in‑person team serving children, adolescents, and adults. The role offers a collaborative culture, structured administrative support, and a best-in-class patient management system.

The successful candidate will be licensed in Alabama, Board Certified or Board Eligible, and able to work in Troy/Montgomery/Birmingham locations with both in‑person and hybrid options.

Qualifications

• Licensed in the State of Alabama as an M.D.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat mental illnesses with psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, hospitalization, and medication.
• Discuss problems with patients and help them find solutions through behavioral changes or therapy sessions.
• Collaborate and supervise with mid-level providers.
• Provide emergency treatment orders as needed.
• Administer medications to correct imbalances.
• Maintain progress notes in Athena EMR consistently.
