Qualifications

• Licensed in the State of Florida as an M.D.
• Board Certified / Board Eligible Psychiatrist
• Full-time/Part-time availability
• In-person or hybrid work setup

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat mental illnesses through psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, hospitalization, and medication.
• Discuss problems with patients and help them find solutions via behavioral changes or therapy.
• Collaborate and supervise with mid-level providers.
• Provide emergency treatment orders as needed.
• Administer medications to correct chemical imbalances.
• Use Athena EMR for progress notes, orders, and records.
• Deliver person and family-centered care.
• Understand developmental/age-specific issues in treatment.
• Interact with patients, supervisors, coworkers, and external agency staff.
• Work safely and comply with policies on workers' compensation, risk management, and security.
