Job summary

Penfield Search Partners Ltd. is assisting with the recruitment of a Manager of Biostatistics in Northern New Jersey.

The role leads statistical activities across clinical development programs and collaborates with statisticians, programmers, and CRO partners to ensure high-quality regulatory-ready outputs. The position requires a Master’s in statistics/biostatistics, 2+ years in biotech/pharmaceuticals, and expertise in SAS with CDISC standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in statistics/biostatistics from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in biotech/pharmaceuticals or related field.
• Experience in statistical responsibilities for design, analysis, and reporting of randomized controlled trials.

Responsibilities

• Provide statistical leadership for one or more clinical development programs.
• Manage statistics from program development through CSR and publication.
• Serve as the primary statistical contact for assigned programs and studies.
• Contribute to protocol development and study design.
• Perform sample size calculations.
• Develop and review statistical analysis plans.
• Collaborate with CROs and cross-functional teams for evidence generation.
• Review deliverables for regulatory compliance and quality.
• Manage biostatistics CRO partners and SOP adherence.
• Support regulatory interactions and preparation for meetings.
