Job summary

Citi in Bogota is seeking an Operations BI Lead to head a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, analysts, and BI developers. You will shape data strategy, drive advanced analytics, and deliver insightful dashboards and predictive models for executive decision-making.

The role requires strong leadership, English/Spanish fluency, and expertise in Tableau, SQL, and cloud platforms like Snowflake/Databricks. Hybrid work arrangement in Colombia is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related quantitative field.
• At least 10 years in BI, Data Science, or analytics.
• Proven leadership of technical teams of data scientists/BI developers.
• Experience managing full lifecycle of analytics/BI projects.
• Strong data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL/ELT knowledge.
• Engineering background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing data team.
• Define and execute the BI roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Oversee end-to-end BI solutions from requirements to dashboards and models.
• Drive prescriptive/predictive analytics and AI integration.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to translate strategy into analytics.
• Promote agile governance, data quality, and scalable BI practices.
