Job summary

Independence Blue Cross is seeking a Manager of Benefits Maintenance for a Hybrid role serving PA, DE, NJ. You will supervise a team handling benefits, medical policy and product operations enablement, coordinating with internal and external partners.

The role requires 7+ years of management experience and strong analytical, communication, and dashboarding skills. The hybrid arrangement asks for in-office days in the Tri-State Area with remote work on other days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of management experience in operations and policy.
• Knowledge of benefits, medical policy and claims preferred.
• Ability to manage teams with tight deliverables.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to define solutions and coordinate resources.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team responsible for benefits, medical policy and product operations enablement.
• Manage team and implement policies with internal and external partners.
• Evaluate projects, mandates, capacity plans and efficiency of the department.
• Oversee ticket inventory to ensure timely resolution across client setup teams.
• Identify trends to improve quality and inform training and DLP needs.
• Synthesize data to develop a clear course of action from multiple sources.
• Develop timely, complete responses to business partners.
• Collaborate with operational leaders to identify process improvements.
• Oversee downstream impacts including claims processing and costs to self-funded customers.
