Job summary

Datasite is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join the Blueflame AI team in New York City. This role will focus on enhancing the platform through collaboration with clients and the engineering team, involving responsibilities like server-side logic design and database maintenance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry and/or technical experience.
• Ability to problem-solve and work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Clients and Customer Success to enhance the platform.
• Design and implement server-side logic for the platform.
• Maintain and optimize databases, ensuring data integrity.
• Develop and maintain APIs for communication.
• Implement security measures to protect data.
• Work closely with front-end engineers for integration.
• Optimize platform performance and identify bugs.
• Document code and processes for knowledge sharing.

Skills

Advanced knowledge of Python

Experience building or working with RESTful APIs

Experience with MongoDB and Redis

Interest in large-language models (LLMs)

Familiarity with distributed systems and multi-threading

Excellent communication skills

Education

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or equivalent
