Job summary

Sound Transit in Seattle seeks a Cloud Platform Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our Azure-based cloud infrastructure, ensuring security, scalability, and high availability in support of IT operations and digital initiatives. You'll work with cross-functional teams, establish standards, and manage IaC using ARM and Ansible, while focusing on cost optimization and disaster recovery.

The role requires a Bachelor's in CS or related field and 4+ years in Azure cloud engineering; hybrid

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cloud Platform Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud platform.
• Strong knowledge of PowerShell and Infrastructure as Code tools and automation.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory Object Administration, Management, and Federation Services.
• Strong knowledge of cost management and related techniques in a cloud environment.
• Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
