Job summary

Peraton is seeking a SQL Developer to join the data engineering team supporting CFTC DEAP. The role involves developing and maintaining data pipelines, migrating data and algorithms to AWS cloud databases, and collaborating with an Agile team on requirements and estimates. Some onsite days in Washington DC are required with regular teleworking days.

Qualifications include extensive experience with AWS/cloud SQL Server, handling XML/CSV data, and U.S. citizenship for CFTC clearance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years with AS/AA; 5+ years with BS/BA; 3+ years with MS/MA; or 9 years with HS diploma.
• Experience with AWS Cloud databases using SQL Server.
• Experience processing XML and CSV data files.
• Must be US citizen able to obtain CFTC clearance.
• Onsite three days in Washington DC, two teleworking days per week.

Responsibilities

• Serve on an Agile team to maintain data services and cloud migrations.
• Design, code, test, and implement AWS cloud-based SQL solutions.
• Gather requirements with the customer and estimate tasks.
• Perform routine data checks and quality assurance.
• Support database planning, design, and implementation.
• Support systems analysis and cloud deployments.
• Provide weekly status updates.
