Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Avionics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in avionics systems engineering or a similar role within the aerospace industry.
• Strong knowledge of avionics components, interfaces, and protocols (e.g., ARINC 429, ARINC 664/AFDX, MIL-STD-1553).
• Experience with avionics system integration, testing, and certification processes.
• Proficiency in simulation and modeling tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) and embedded software development environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to articulate technical concepts effectively.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment, managing tasks both remotely and on-site.
• Familiarity with aerospace standards and regulatory requirements is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate avionics systems, including communication, navigation, surveillance, and flight control systems.
• Define system requirements, specifications, and architectures for new avionics installations and upgrades.
• Conduct system testing, validation, and verification to ensure compliance with performance and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex avionics hardware and software issues during development and testing phases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and airframe manufacturers.
• Prepare technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and user manuals.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in avionics technology and industry best practices.
• Participate in project planning, risk assessment, and progress reporting.
• Support flight test activities and analyze flight data to evaluate system performance.
• Ensure all design and development activities adhere to relevant aviation regulations (e.g., EASA, FAA).
