Job summary

US Foods seeks a talented Automation Quality Engineer intern to join the Digital and Technology & Quality Engineering team for the summer. This role focuses on QA automation, test design, and collaboration with a cross-functional team to deliver web and mobile applications.

The intern will design and execute tests using Selenium, Playwright, and Cypress, identify defects, and summarize testing activities for review. The program runs June through August, 40 hours per week, hybrid onsite/remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems/Science or related area of study.
• Must be enrolled in school during time of internship.
• Typically, students between junior and senior years (or first/second year of grad school) will be considered for internships.

Responsibilities

• QA automation test design based on project requirements.
• Defect identification through test execution using QA automation tools.
• Summarize testing activities for review by lead analysts and manager.
• Defect management throughout the project lifecycle.
