Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking a Claims Specialist for Auto Bodily Injury. You will handle auto bodily injury claims of varying complexity and work with attorneys to develop strategies for timely resolutions.

This hybrid role reports to offices in Atlanta, Dallas, Schaumburg or Overland Park. Required are a Bachelor’s Degree or Zurich Apprenticeship with 2+ years in Claims, or a High School Diploma with 4+ years, plus licenses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with 2+ years in Claims/Insurance.
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with Associate Degree and 2+ years in Claims/Insurance.
• High School Diploma with 4+ years in Claims/Insurance.
• Zurich Claims Training Program completed with 2+ years in Claims.
• Must obtain and maintain required adjuster licenses.
• Knowledge of insurance regulations, markets and products.

Responsibilities

• Handle auto bodily injury claims with varying complexity.
• Work with internal and external attorneys.
• Partner with attorneys on complex claims cases.
• Develop case strategy to achieve timely resolutions.
• Establish timely reserves and review claims within authority limits.
• Assess damages and ranges allowed by law.
• Maintain customer service via proactive communication.
• Refer claims to subrogation and fraud teams.
