The State Auditor’s Office (SAO) seeks an Audit Intern for Team Yakima in Yakima, WA. The internship provides hands-on auditing, data analysis, and collaborative work with audit staff statewide.

Qualified candidates must be enrolled in an accredited college, have accounting coursework, and demonstrate strong computer, written, and verbal communication skills. Travel to audit sites is required; start date is flexible.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Eligible candidates remain in the pool for three months and are referred to hiring managers as openings occur.
• Travel to audit sites will be necessary.

Responsabilités

• Assist with audit tests and data analysis.
• Communicate with entity staff and support for audit procedures.
• Work on several small assignments or one large assignment over the internship.
