Job summary

Genesis HealthCare is seeking an Attending Physician for a float position across our greater Tampa Bay area centers, including Seminole, Largo, and Tampa locations. The role offers part-time, full-time, or 1099 options with an incentive-based pay structure and optional call.

The candidate must be MD or DO, board-eligible or -certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, with geriatrics a plus. Excellent patient care and collaboration with medical directors are essential.

Qualifications

• MD/DO required.
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine preferred, with maintenance of certification.
• Geriatrics specialization is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Take complete responsibility for patients admitted to their service.
• Visit assigned patients in a timely fashion according to policy.
• Comply with credentialing and Center Medical Director directives.
• Coordinate care with area hospitals and senior living facilities.
• Deliver high quality care and act as a role model for staff and physicians.
• Contribute to population health and outcomes measurements.
