Amberwell Atchison is seeking a High School Outreach Athletic Trainer to provide on-site sports medicine services at partner high schools. You will deliver injury prevention, evaluation, emergency care, treatment, and rehabilitation while aligning with hospital protocols and team physicians.
The role requires 1–3 years of athletic training experience, a bachelor’s degree in athletic training (master’s preferred), state and NATA licenses, and CPR certification.

The High School Outreach Athletic Trainer (AT) is employed by the hospital or health system and assigned to partner high school(s) to provide comprehensive sports medicine services. This position serves as an extension of the hospital’s sports medicine program, delivering on-site injury prevention, evaluation, emergency care, treatment, and rehabilitation services to student-athletes while strengthening community relationships and supporting physician practice growth. The Athletic Trainer works under the direction of the team physician and within hospital policies and clinical protocols.

Preferred Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in athletic training, preferably in a secondary school.
Education:
Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in athletic training
