Job summary

CohnReznick is seeking an Assurance Senior Associate to join our Financial Services team in Hartford for hybrid in-office and remote work. You will lead engagements, manage budgets, and coordinate audits, tax, and consulting services for private equity, venture capital, and other funds.

The role requires a CPA, 3+ years in public accounting, and strong client management and communication skills. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package including generous PTO and learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting is required.
• CPA designation is required.
• 3+ years of experience in a public accounting firm is required.

Responsibilities

• Serving as the engagement lead on specific client accounts, taking responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables.
• Develop detailed engagement work plans, illustrating budgets and schedules.
• Continue to build a thorough understanding of all audits, tax and consulting services provided by the firm, and actively participate in proposals.
• In managing a team of staff associates, including interns, you will provide regular performance coaching and feedback, while developing individual technical and industry skills.
• Effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear and concise direction and leadership.
