Job summary

CohnReznick in Sunrise and Boca Raton is seeking an Assurance Senior Associate to join the Consumer, Hospitality and Manufacturing (CHAMP) team. This hybrid role supports clients in CHAMP industries with audit and assurance services, collaborating with associates, managers and partners.

You will lead day-to-day audit engagements, assist in planning, perform procedures across cash, revenue, inventory, and other areas, supervise staff, and help develop practical solutions while building client

Qualifications

• 3+ years of work in a public accounting firm.
• Manufacturing and Distribution experience with inventory preferred.
• CPA licensure achieved or eligibility to sit for the exam.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with audit software such as ProSystem FX and Inflo.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day execution of audit and assurance engagements for CHAMP clients.
• Assist in engagement planning, risk assessment, and audit strategy development.
• Perform and review procedures across cash, revenue, inventory, fixed assets, and related areas.
• Coordinate engagement activities, monitor timelines, and ensure timely deliverables.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop staff through coaching and training.
• Review staff workpapers for accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Identify issues, perform research, and propose practical solutions.
• Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and service.
