Job summary

Great American Insurance Group is seeking an Associate Technical Product Manager for the Corporate Claims division in Cincinnati. You will partner with IT to identify opportunities, define solutions, and deliver business value across core claims systems and AI initiatives.

You will translate business needs into actionable requirements, prioritize the roadmap, and ensure high-quality, user-friendly product outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Insurance, Risk Management, Computer Science, or related field is required.
3+ years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance, claims operations, product management, business analysis, process improvement, or technology delivery roles.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
Ability to analyze complex business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend practical solutions.
Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority and build consensus across multiple stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and prioritizing the product roadmap aligned to business goals and customer needs.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements.
Translate business needs into user stories and technical specifications with engineering teams.
Oversee the product development lifecycle from concept to launch and ensure timely delivery of features.
Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders at all levels.
