Job summary

Dana-co in New York City is seeking an Associate Forecaster to support demand planning, inventory management, and forecasting initiatives across our brands. This role suits an analytical early-career professional with strong quantitative skills in the apparel industry.

This in-office 4 days/week role offers a path to build forecasting expertise and collaborate with cross-functional teams, with one day remote per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• Strong Excel skills with Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
• 1–3 years in forecasting, planning, or inventory roles.
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Generate and maintain forecasting and inventory reports (Available-to-Sell, Replenishment, Demand Planning).
• Prepare and present monthly forecast for assigned areas.
• Analyze sales, inventory, and POS data to identify trends and risks.
• Support forecasting by updating projections and reports across brands.
• Monitor sales performance vs forecast and communicate variances.
• Prepare Production Cut reports evaluating inventory, production and demand.
• Track invoiced, open, shipped, and canceled units vs plan and share findings.
• Assist with inventory planning and replenishment recommendations.
• Organize monthly forecast meeting materials and action items.
• Collaborate with Sales, Production, Operations, and Finance to optimize forecast accuracy.
