Job summary

This hybrid role emphasizes leadership, recruitment oversight, strategic trial development, and collaboration with faculty to advance lung disease research while maintaining compliance with HIPAA, FDA, IRB and international guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Five years of clinical research experience; master's preferred.
• Strong leadership and staff supervision experience.
• Experience with regulatory compliance (HIPAA, FDA, IRB) required.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staffing and resourcing for programs under purview, mentoring managers.
• Audit operations and lead quality improvement initiatives and audits.
• Develop recruitment and retention strategies and regulate regulatory documents.
• Strategic decisions on new and existing clinical research projects; chair committees.
• Develop goals for clinical trials in collaboration with faculty and stakeholders.
• Oversee regulatory management and resolve compliance challenges.
• Ensure compliance with local, national and international regulations.
• Manage program budgets and track financial status.
• Engage in outreach and represent the program to internal/external audiences.
• Analyze recruitment trends and standardize reporting.
• Contribute to data analysis and manuscript preparation.
