Job summary

Leeds at University of Colorado Boulder is seeking an Associate Director of Budget and Finance to lead the Leeds Budget and Leeds A/P teams, provide high-level fiscal analysis, and shape the financial strategy for the school.

Reporting to the Budget and Finance Senior Director, you will supervise staff, coordinate budgets, manage year-end processes, and partner with senior leadership to ensure timely, compliant financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Leeds Budget department by supervising budget staff and planning the annual budget process.
• Lead the Leeds A/P department with high-level direction and standardization efforts.
• Ensure collaboration between Leeds budget and finance teams and maintain accounting systems.
• Provide budget and finance guidance to Associate Deans, Chairs, Directors, and unit managers.
• Direct Leeds’ year-end process and review high-level transactions in CU Boulder systems.
• Oversee collaboration with Leeds HR and Advancement teams and manage deadlines.
• Mentor staff, manage performance, and foster team development and cohesion.
