Red Ventures is seeking an Associate Data Scientist for its Home Data Science team in Charlotte, NC. The role blends hands-on ML work with collaboration across data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field or a Bachelor’s with 1–2 years of professional experience.
• Foundational understanding of core data science techniques: classification, regression, clustering.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with Generative AI tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini, Langchain, OpenAI or similar).
• Familiarity with model deployment and ML operations: version control, CI/CD, job orchestration.
• Analytical instincts for exploratory data analysis and business impact assessment.
• Collaborative mindset with curiosity about business value.
• Internship/research/project ML experience; Databricks or AWS is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development and deployment of ML/AI solutions in production.
• Handle data lifecycle: data cleaning, modeling, tracking impact.
• Translate client needs into well-scoped data science work.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Communicate progress and risks clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Participate in code reviews and pair programming.
• Build knowledge of business KPIs and model impact.
• Tackle scoped tickets and small projects independently.
