Placements24 is seeking an experienced Lead Data Scientist to spearhead innovative ML projects within its research division in George. You will guide a team of data scientists and engineers, translating complex business challenges into data-driven solutions.

This role blends technical leadership with strategic thinking to build next-generation predictive models, scalable data pipelines, and analytics capabilities that drive tangible impact across the organization.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in a quantitative field.
• 8+ years in data science with at least 3 years in leadership.
• Deep expertise in ML algorithms, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics.
• Proficiency in Python or R and ML libraries.
• Experience with cloud platforms and big data technologies.
• Ability to translate findings into executive-friendly insights.
