You will handle cases from start to finish, draft key documents, prepare for depositions and trials, and work with clients and experts to shape litigation strategies. NY bar admission and JD from an ABA-accredited school are essential.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from ABA-accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
• 1+ year(s) of workers’ compensation insurance defense experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage your caseload from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Ensure compliance with court deadlines and scheduling requirements.
• Work closely with clients, experts, and attorneys to develop and execute litigation strategies.
• Conduct legal research, prepare strategic memoranda, and collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to ensure seamless case management.
• Draft Section 32 agreements, third-party liens, and Medicare compliance.
