Qualifications

• Seven or more years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
• Leadership, communication, and motivational skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of GAAP, company policies, and applicable laws.
• Experience with SAP, including uploads and builds.
• Cost accounting and product costing experience.
• Financial modeling and reporting experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication with senior management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee financial reporting activities, ensuring compliance throughout the department.
• Support the Plant Controller and plant management to maximize results and provide oversight for manufacturing accounting.
• Ensure GAAP, SOX, and legal compliance by reviewing and auditing financial transactions.
• Prepare timely financial reporting, lead month-end close, and reconcile accounts.
• Oversee the Annual Operating Plan, Short-Term Forecast, and Long-Range Forecast with variance analysis.
• Develop, report, and analyze product costs to support financial targets and decisions.
• Manage payroll, accounts payable, capital expenditures review, currency transactions, and asset controls.
• Serve as primary contact for auditors and support SOX compliance and audit inquiries.
• Coach, train, and develop the plant finance team while aiding special projects.
