Job summary

The Freeman Company in Dallas, TX is seeking an Art Director to lead the conception, creation and oversight of brand and marketing communications. The role partners with marketing leadership to elevate messaging and ensure consistency across channels.

Hybrid schedule with in-office days 2–3 per week, based out of North Dallas. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in brand design, a strong portfolio, and proficiency in Adobe CC, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and visualization tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years in brand design, design agency, or corporate marketing.
• Proven portfolio with art direction and production skills.
• Proficient in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop; After Effects; Figma/Canva.

Responsibilities

• Develop dynamic visual solutions across media aligned with brand strategy.
• Provide creative oversight and direction to internal/external resources.
• Collaborate with colleagues across business units and partners.
• Present work clearly and persuasively to stakeholders.
• Maintain organized files and brand guidelines resources.
• Prioritize multiple projects to meet deadlines.
• Work independently or as part of a team.
• Additional skills: data visualization, social media guidelines, simple illustration.
