Job summary

CESO, Inc. in Columbus, OH is seeking a Designer who will assist with architectural design, drawing production, and coordination with MEP systems. The role provides hands-on experience across field and office settings and exposure to construction documents.

You will prepare 2D drawings and 3D models, ensure compliance with drafting standards, and develop skills in reading building codes and performing redlines. Strong attention to detail and basic knowledge of CAD/BIM are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design or related fields is required.
• Or Certification in Drafting from an accredited technical school with 2 years of related experience is required.
• Basic knowledge of graphics and drafting techniques, Architectural drawings sets, CAD/BIM.

Responsibilities

• Gain experience in all facets of Architectural Design in field and office settings including survey, construction documentation/design, and construction administration.
• Assist in preparation of 2D drawings and 3D models, renderings and other CAD/BIM work.
• Create and prepare all drawings in compliance with company drafting standards and per client standards.
• Gain experience in understanding building codes and due diligence/jurisdictional research.
• Make drawing updates and corrections based on redline mark-ups and learn from feedback.
• Self-check and review completed work and redlines before QA/QC review.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
