Job summary

The North Carolina Department of Information Technology (NCDIT) is seeking an Applications Systems Analyst II to maintain and enhance bridge inspection software used by the North Carolina Department of Transportation. You will write complex code in C# and SQL, develop SQL Anywhere 17 schemas, and support data requests and reporting for field teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or IT-related field or equivalent experience with two years in business application development.
• Experience with SQL databases (SQL Anywhere or MS SQL Server) and writing complex SQL queries.
• Familiarity with C# or an object-oriented language and reporting/data requests.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain highly complex program code for bridge inspection tools using C# and SQL.
• Maintain SQL Anywhere 17 schemas, publications, and subscriptions for data distribution.
• Manage Mobilink synchronization scripts for offline-capable field apps.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data synchronization, reporting, and analysis.
• Analyze SQL performance and provide technical support to end users.
