Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, IT, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, software development, IT support, or a related technology field.
• Exposure to application security concepts and vulnerability management.
• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Interest in learning application security tools and vulnerabilities scanning platforms.
• Security certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with application security testing using industry tools to identify vulnerabilities.
• Review findings and support remediation with development teams.
• Monitor and maintain Web Application Firewall protections and investigate threats.
• Participate in secure design discussions, code reviews, and security assessments.
• Support API security reviews and secure handling of sensitive data.
• Track remediation activities across teams and maintain security documentation.
• Research emerging threats and best practices (OWASP Top 10, CWE Top 25).
• Collaborate with developers to promote secure coding throughout the SDLC.
