Offset Strategic Services (OSS) seeks an Application Developer in Huntsville, AL. Hybrid work arrangement; candidate must be local and within driving distance of Redstone Arsenal. Active DoD – Secret clearance and US citizenship required.

The role focuses on automating and modernizing government business processes, delivering dashboards, data visualizations, and scalable applications.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT, or a related field.
2+ years of experience across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, development, testing, and deployment.
Experience with user interface design and relational database concepts.
Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions.
Strong customer-facing and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop, configure, test, deploy, and sustain government business applications.
Translate customer and functional requirements into technical requirements.
Collaborate with Project Manager, architects, developers, and stakeholders to define approaches and designs.
Design dashboards, workflows, and data visualizations for operations and management decisions.
Develop data models, services, and application components; ensure secure, scalable solutions.
