Job summary

Adecco Portugal is partnering with a global apparel company to hire a Graphic Apparel & Print Designer for a playful, youth-oriented brand across apparel, loungewear and intimates.

You will drive seasonal graphics, prints and artwork from trend research through production, collaborating with Design, Product Development and overseas factories.

Schedule is hybrid—4 days onsite and 1 day remote; salary ranges $85,000–$105,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design or Graphic Design.
• 5+ years of experience in apparel graphic/print design.
• Strong portfolio with apparel graphics and prints.
• Advanced Illustrator and Photoshop skills.
• Strong hand-drawing and painting ability.
• Knowledge of apparel production, fabrics and print techniques.
• Strong knowledge of fashion and color trends.
• Excellent color sense and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Research seasonal trends, graphics, prints, color and artwork direction.
• Create original prints, repeats, color separations and production-ready artwork.
• Develop seasonal color palettes and presentation boards.
• Create artwork for apparel, branding, labels and packaging.
• Work with fabrics, print techniques and fabric manipulation to support the overall design vision.
• Communicate with overseas factories throughout the development process.
• Partner cross-functionally with Design, Product Development, Technical Design and Production to ensure accurate handoff and execution.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines against the development calendar.
• Bring a strong hand-drawing/painting ability along with digital design skills.
