Job summary

Brooksource is seeking an Application Developer for a contract, hybrid role based in Morris Plains, NJ. You will develop, enhance, support, and maintain business-critical applications, reporting, and analytics solutions, partnering with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions and deliver tools that drive operational efficiency and informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS or related field.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and validation.
• Experience supporting business applications, reporting, or analytics.
• Experience with C#/.NET.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Experience with AI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain web-based reporting applications for internal teams, clients, and brokers.
• Gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications.
• Conduct data research, analysis, validation, and reconciliation for reporting solutions.
• Perform QA and UAT to validate system functionality for production readiness.
• Build and support business applications and integrations using C# and SQL.
• Translate requirements into scalable application and reporting systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and informed decisions.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for critical applications and analytics solutions.
