Job summary

Intepros is seeking an API Test Engineer to support a high-visibility data-processing platform in a contract-to-hire capacity. The role combines manual and automated testing to validate REST APIs, data workflows, and system integrations in a hybrid environment (Pittsburgh, PA and Lake Mary, FL).

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in software quality engineering, strong Python scripting, SQL validation, and experience building automation frameworks or CI/CD pipelines. Hybrid onsite 4 days.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software quality engineering or testing.
• Hands-on API testing and integrations.
• Ability to develop test cases independently.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL validation.
• Knowledge of HTTP methods and JSON payloads.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute functional, integration, regression tests.
• Automate test scripts with Python.
• Validate end-to-end data workflows and API payloads.
• Identify defects and collaborate with developers.
