Job summary

Zeam Health is seeking an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist (AMFT) to provide individual, couples, and family therapy in a hybrid setting (in-person and telehealth) across Sacramento, Folsom, and Roseville. You will complete intakes, assessments, safety plans, and ongoing treatment plans while collaborating with psychiatry for integrated care.

The role requires a Master's in a related field, active CA AMFT, and foundational CBT/trauma-informed skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in MFT/Counseling/Clinical Psychology or related field.
• California AMFT registration active and in good standing.
• Foundational skills in CBT and trauma-informed care; strong rapport-building.
• Comfort with hybrid care (clinic + telehealth) and basic EHR proficiency.
• Reliability, professional communication, and ethical judgment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individual, couple, and/or family therapy (in-person & telehealth).
• Complete intakes, risk assessments, safety plans, and ongoing treatment plans.
• Use measurement-based care (PHQ-9, GAD-7, etc.) to track progress.
• Collaborate with psychiatric providers on medication-informed treatment plans.
• Maintain timely, accurate EHR documentation and HIPAA compliance.
• Participate in weekly supervision, case consultation, and trainings.
• Contribute to a culture of equity, cultural humility, and trauma-informed care.
• Optional: co-facilitate groups (psychoeducation, skills, or specialty groups).
