Job summary

The Program in Human Biology at Stanford University is seeking a full-time Communications and Outreach Manager to provide comprehensive support including alumni communications and events.

Under the direction of the Administrative Director, you will collaborate with alumni volunteers, faculty, the Office of Development, University Communications, and other colleagues to develop, implement, and evaluate activities, programs, services, and communications reaching alumni.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Recruit faculty and volunteers to participate in alumni programs and events.
• Develop contacts and maintain relationships with alumni, faculty, students, staff, and vendors.
• Develop and implement a range of alumni events, programs, and services.
• Coordinate planning of alumni events, activities, outreach efforts, and event registration.
• Produce reports to evaluate performance of alumni programs and services.
• Recruit and oversee student workers and temporary/casual workers.
