Job summary

FleishmanHillard, a leading global PR agency, seeks a Research Director for its True Global Intelligence Team in the U.S. in a hybrid role.

You will drive AI-enabled research, manage client engagements, and guide analytics across multiple accounts, marrying rigorous methodologies with innovative AI applications. The role emphasizes senior leadership in research, client advisory, and cross‑functional collaboration to optimize programs with AI.

Qualifications

• Hybrid model of working in-person in the office weekly in one of our U.S. locations.
• 7+ years of experience across diverse research categories and models; client-service experience preferred.
• Hands-on AI applications/tools and proven ability to integrate AI with traditional research methods.
• Experience in secondary research, social listening, landscape analyses, data gathering and insights from secondary research.
• Business acumen and self-starter mindset; works with teams and independently to propose options.
• Analytical and deductive reasoning skills; translates findings into meaningful insights and storytelling.
• Strong project management: setting priorities, meeting deadlines, and managing projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication for diverse audiences; interacts with all levels.
• Expertise in media data collection tools (Talkwalker, Brandwatch, Cision, Signal AI); Google Analytics a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Work with the team to integrate AI processes in existing research programs and develop new AI capabilities.
• Cultivate client relationships and coordinate with cross-functional internal resources.
• Advise clients and senior leaders with strategic AI integration recommendations to meet account goals.
• Ensure processes are followed and documentation is maintained to deliver high-quality results.
• Own project execution and escalate issues affecting timeline or data quality.
• Mentor junior staff, oversee deliverables, and support professional development.
• Assist with scope development, budget management, and staffing with team leads.
• Present research findings to clients in a clear, professional manner and translate data into insights.
