Lilly in Silicon Valley is seeking an HPC Systems Administrator to build and operate scalable AI and high-performance computing platforms powering advanced machine learning and scientific workloads.

You will collaborate with AI scientists, engineers, and infrastructure teams to enable training, inference, and experimentation across GPU, cloud, and on‑prem environments, while driving automation and reliability. This role offers a hybrid schedule and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (CS/EE/Systems Eng or related).
• 5 years’ experience deploying or supporting large-scale HPC or distributed computing environments.
• Strong Linux, scripting, and automation skills.

• Build and operate scalable AI/HPC platforms for research and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with AI scientists, engineers, and infra teams to enable model training, inference, and experimentation across GPU, cloud and on-prem environments.
