Lilly invites you to join the silicon valley AI/ML frontier as an HPC Systems Administrator. Build scalable AI and HPC platforms, enabling model training, inference, and experimentation across GPU, cloud, and on‑prem environments.

You will collaborate with AI scientists, engineers, and infrastructure teams to improve productivity, performance, and reliability, while embracing automation and cost efficiency in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is required.
• 5 years’ experience deploying and supporting large-scale HPC/GPU/distributed computing environments.
• Experience with Linux administration, automation, and scripting is required.
• Experience with job scheduling platforms like Slurm or Grid Engine; Kubernetes and containers are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate scalable AI and HPC platforms powering ML and scientific workloads.
• Partner with AI scientists and engineers to enable training and inference workflows.
• Drive automation, standardization, and observability for reliable infrastructure.
