Requires possession of a valid license to practice law in Illinois.
Requires 2 years of professional experience in the practice of law.

Responsibilities

Serves as Administrative Law Judge.
Guides the appeal through pre-hearing phases.
Presides at formal administrative hearings convened throughout the state of Illinois.
Prepares complete administrative records in cases appealed to the Circuit Court on administrative review in accordance with the Illinois Administrative Procedure Act.
Conducts legal research into more complex issues and reviews developments in relevant law.
Provides input to the Chief Administrative Law Judge in formulating rules and procedures for the Administrative Hearings Unit.
Performs other duties as required or assigned within scope.
