Job summary

Elevance Health in Indianapolis is seeking an Actuarial Analyst II to support Medicare Advantage bid submissions and pricing model development. You will analyze data, build pricing factors and collaborate with the vendor management team to ensure accurate interpretation of vendor payments.

A BA/BS and a minimum of three actuarial exams with at least one year of related experience are required. Intermediate Excel and SQL skills, strong organization, and health insurance experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree and to have passed a minimum of three SOA or CAS actuarial exams and a minimum of 1 year related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Responsibilities

• Supports the preparation of Medicare Advantage (MA) bid submissions.
• Obtains, verifies, analyzes and models data for MA supplemental benefit pricing development.
• Partners with benefit vendor management team to ensure accurate interpretation of vendor payment arrangements.
• Assists in ad hoc projects in building and refining pricing factors and models.
