Job summary

Independence is seeking a skilled Actuarial Analyst II to join our team in Philadelphia. In this role, you will perform complex actuarial analyses, prepare data for pricing research and help shape the future of health care. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least two years of experience, with solid mathematical skills.

Qualifications

• Completion of actuarial course exams P, FM, IFM, LTAM and associated VEE credits.
• Minimum of two years of experience in actuarial analysis.
• Solid mathematical background and experience with risk models.

Responsibilities

• Perform actuarial and statistical analyses to estimate financial outcomes.
• Prepare data for pricing research and rating information packages.
• Support the development of trend projections and valuations of medical costs.
