Job summary

Urban Grid Solar Projects, LLC is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing accounting team in Houston. You will interface with vendors and internal partners to drive accuracy and efficiency in AP operations, with a focus on process improvements and timely payments.

The role requires 2–4 years of accounting experience, familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle NetSuite a plus) and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in accounting, accounts payable or similar role.
• Experience with ERP systems and Sarbanes-Oxley controls; Oracle NetSuite and/or Procore experience is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and organizational skills.
• Hybrid work location in Houston, TX; ability to balance in-office and remote days.
• Authorized to work in the United States full-time; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Review coding and code invoices according to policy.
• Monitor open purchase orders with procurement and other functions.
• Ensure invoices have proper approvals prior to payment.
• Communicate with vendors by phone or email.
• Prepare batch check runs, wire transfers, and ACH payments.
