Job summary

Solar Landscape seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage high‑volume invoice processing and vendor payments in a fast‑paced energy services environment. You’ll ensure accurate coding, timely payments, and strong vendor relationships across multiple projects.

The role supports month‑end close, reconciliations, and 1099 reporting while upholding internal controls. Hybrid remote work is available with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• 2+ years in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
• Experience with ERP and payment systems and strong Excel skills.
• Attention to detail and solid organizational skills.
• Understanding of GL coding, accruals, and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume invoices with proper project/job cost coding.
• 2-way match invoices, POs, and receipts.
• Prepare and execute payments (ACH, wire, check).
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors on issues.
• Support vendor onboarding and maintain records (W-9s, banking).
• Respond to inquiries about invoices and payments.
• Assist with month-end close, AP accruals, and reconciliations.
• Support year-end 1099 reporting and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with controls and policies; drive process improvements.
