Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to support the Navista business in the Greater Nashville area with a hybrid schedule. The role leads general ledger activities, mentors accounting staff, and ensures accurate financial records and timely close.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of accounting experience, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong GAAP knowledge; CPA is preferred. The position reports to the Finance department and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of corporate and/or public accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages company’s general ledger activity.
• Supervises, trains, and develops accounting personnel.
• Prepares and presents performance evaluations of direct reports.
• Reviews monthly journal entries and reconciliations to close the month.
• Reviews monthly variance reports for operating performance.
• Reviews monthly reports for key indicators and statistics.
• Assists with financial information requests.
• Participates in budgets, forecasts, and quarterly projections.
• Works with Center Leaders/Operations.
• Maintains confidentiality of privileged information.
• Ensures deadlines are met.
