Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Dallas–Fort Worth is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations, ensure accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial management in a hybrid work setting. The role requires strong leadership and coordination with external partners.

Responsibilities include reconciliations, month-end close, audit support, and government funding grants management, with a focus on IFRS compliance and staff mentorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• CPA designation preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles; IFRS experience is a plus.
• Experience in practice accounting.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile accounts and prepare financial statements.
• Ensure accuracy in financial reporting for stakeholders.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing, audit support and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with third-party providers to enhance financial systems and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations (IFRS).
• Lead and mentor accounting staff and foster continuous improvement.
• Manage grants, subsidies and accounting related to government funding programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
