Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Experience leading staff or teams and mentoring personnel.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting and financial reporting for the Credit Card Lending portfolio.
• Own month-end and quarter-end close processes with timely recording and reconciliations.
• Review and approve reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analyses.
• Maintain subledger-to-general ledger reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
• Analyze financial results and communicate portfolio performance and drivers.
• Partner with operations, servicing, FP&A, and data teams to improve reporting and processes.
