Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP, GASB and government accounting principles.
• Broad experience in communications including writing, training, reviewing/auditing, presenting projects and interpreting fiscal policies.
• Advanced leadership and personnel management; time management and conflict resolution.
• Independent development of short-range and long-term plans and schedules to support the organization's mission.
• Strong ability to prioritize, plan, organize, direct, and monitor a diverse workforce.
• Extensive experience with computer applications particularly Microsoft software and knowledge of enterprise software.
• Ability to maintain professional demeanor and diplomacy with staff, stakeholders and the public.
• Familiarity with government codes and regulations related to accounting.
